The Kielder Run Bike Run is a relay event taking place as part of the annual Kielder Marathon. Individuals, or teams of three, will take part in a competitive race through the stunning surroundings of Kielder Water and Forest Park. If you’d like to take part, the entry fee is £75 for teams or £55 for individuals. Entry to the Kielder Water and Forest Park to watch the event is free.

During Halloween 2011, Wallington House near Morpeth becomes the spookiest place in Northumberland. Children can some along and make their own lantern for the Halloween Lantern Parade, take a walk along the spooktacular trail and hear scary stories read by Wallington’s resident witch.
